I have downloaded a couple of movies (from Kazaa) and the picture and sound are kinda off. Any information would be great.

Well I'm not surprised the sound and picture are kinda off. Firstly though, that could be cause by what you are using to view them! I use WinDVD to play any type of files i get anywhere and its great!

If you really want something to edit avis, VirtualDUB is the best. For lining up sound and video you can change the startup delay of the sound by clicking audio - interleaving! then click video and select direct stream copy and save an avi.

it all depends on the type of movie your downloading. if you are getting the newest movies which are in cinema then yes the quality of them are not the best. if you download dvd rips then they should be pretty good. divx is a good player for them but also windvd. whatever floats your boat!
