Is there away to adjust the quality of a video??

    I know that the quality of videos are downsized to make the file smaller. I want to know if there is a way to do the opposite.. make the quality better but file bigger

    Put a bad image on a copy scanner and copy with the highest resolution: you think the image will be better that the original? ;-)

    Howevere, there are a lot of filters and other techniques in video editing that available to improve the quality of bad video, but which one to use and how to proceed depends very much on the type of "bad quality" you have.

    you can always go low, going up is harder.

    if source if from a clean dvd, you can always sharpen it up a little, i'm not saying its not without flaws, if you sharpen too much, you'll see evil things come up.

    sharpening crap material won't will always do good, like analog tv capture stuff.
