Is this drive good?

    Pioneer DVR-A05 DVD IDE Writer, is this a good drive to buy for ps2 dvd backups? anyone with feedback??

    I think any DVD burner product is good for PS2. It will probably depend on what software you use. But I could be wrong.

    It should work fine. That's what I use. I burn all my backups at 1x for best quality but the media you will have to use will vary depending on what version of PS2 you are working with. v7's seem to be the most forgiving with cheap media and older units will usually work better with Ritek or Verbatim media. Hope that helps.

    That's what I have and use Nero. No problems with DVD-R and CD-R backups.

    i have a V4 GAP 30001.. you think ritek or vertibam or whatever the name is necessary? if yes , where do i go? i live in canada. and ottawa region (ontario)

    If there is any Computer Shows or Computer stores in your area, check it out. I think any product will do.
