If you think it's to good to be true - it probably is. Personally I would never use a site that makes you sign up for affiliate offers to be eligible to get something cheap. Save your $ - might take a little longer to get what you want but at least you wouldn't have to jump through hoops w/ a company like halfmania. And then you still may not get it from them. A very quick goggle also didn't look promising on them - link

Not a problem You're right -'word of mouth' helps others not falling for these too good to be true offers.
