Is it true that I save memory space if I convert DVD-Video into ISO image files?

How big would I save memory space?

you wont save either, .iso is an image of the dvd, so contains all the vob/bubs/ifo files under one filename instead of a folder. it is not a compressed version of the disc, it is the same size.
The only way you will save space is to burn them off to blank dvd's and delete the files on your computer

no problem. if your running out of space a harddrive upgrade can be a quite cheap solution
