Recently i ripped a dvd to my hdd using DVD Decrypter into an ISO format movie. But it is too big to put on a single DVD-R, and when i try to shrink it using DVD Shrink it says it is not a compatible format. What am i doing wrong? How do i shrink the ISO file so that it fits onto a single DVD-R?

You can"t rip the DVD in ISO Format if you are going to re-compress it...If you have WinISO or even WinRar installed you can extract the Folder from the ISO File and use DVD Shrink on it...Just remember next time you can not do anything with an ISO file accept Burn it....

Minion, thanks for the great tip. I spent HOURS searching forums to figure out how to shrink my large ISO files!
