Issue burning images.

    Hi,

    Had a good look round the forums but couldn't see anything specific to my problem.

    I've got:

    Dell Lattitude C610
    Windows XP Prof.
    Nero express 6.6.0.1
    Samsung sn-308B combo cd writer/dvd player
    External (usb) NEC 2510a

    I have no problems burning both data and music CD's on both drives.

    However, if I try to burn an image e.g. cue/bin or ISO, the external writer (NEC) works - BUT the samsung drive dosen't... it burns, verifies, but is a coaster maker! - tried different media, CD-R, CD-RW, reducing speed x4 instead of x8 - but still no joy.

    Can anyone help?

    note: I've also just updated the fireware of the samsung drive.....no change.

    Just to add.

    I've just tried "burnatonce" on the samsung and it worked!:)
    Still not working with nero? Any suggestions?

    Nothing - It says's 0 files and 0 btyes.

    however the cd looks burnt
