    Okay, here we go again.

    -.- I am a blonde.
    Naturally.

    I have a PSP 3001 model.
I am trying to put new games over onto the psp from my computer.
But, alas, to no avail, I am an utter noob at it.

    I will admit I am a noob. =P

    But no, seriously...

How do I put the game I got on over to the psp memory card?

But when I do just drag and drop them into the psp, they show up as corrupted data.

Just remove the bad t-word, discussing pirating isn't allowed on here.
What firmware version are you on?
You can find this in the system settings.

You'll need a custom firmware, either 6.60 ME LCFW or 6.60 PRO, both can be found at psp.dashhacks.com in the download section. On a 3000 you can't install a permanent firmware.
