Sorry...I know it's an old game, but I got a small problem.

I have been trying to use warcraft 3 with daemon tools, but can't get it to work well enough. Not just that one, but with most of my games. I got alcohol too, but not working to no avail.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong, cause with warcraft 3 it still says I need the cd rom, but most of the places that I looked, I couldn't find much info.

    Thanks in advance.

    You answered yourself...
If you use the CD(s)/DVD(s) then the game will play just fine.

Uh...yeah, thats the thing...I've played it before without using the cd rom, just the image.

What I was asking was the process in getting creating the .mds file to work properly with daemon tools, of course if I wanted to use the cd-rom, I wouldn't have posted a thread. But I would like to use the image file instead.

Even with Counterstrike you are able to create an image file and not have to use a cd in order to boot. That is what daemon tools and alcohol are for.

    But thanks for your input.
