I finally got my version 7 3.1 and clip working. It really wasn't that bad. The biggest problem is inexperiece with ps2 design and soldering. I'm now an expert with both. My ps1 origionals and backups don't work but thats because I lost my yellow s component. Talked to supleh and he told me how to get around it, but the pad that was underneath the yellow component was scratch away by accident. So my ps1 games are lost forever, but that is doable. Just for those of you who are considering puting in a mod chip listen to these few pointers from my experience.

    1) GET DESOLDERING BRAID
    2) You don't need a lot of solder to make things stick on
    3) Be extra carful with the s-component and bga connections
    4) Only unplug the ribbons from the motherboard and not their source.

    Thx to all who helped
