the thing is that i have a internal dvd burner that i'm not using. my question is: its possible to convert to an external dvd burner?

 

yes you can but will need an usb2 5.25" external enclosure probably for ide.

Yes you can,you just need to buy one usb external enclosure,just make sure which kind of connection your drive is,either it's ide or sata so that you buy the right one.
