When I installed Vista, iTunes worked perfectly no hiccups. Now, after i update the graphics card drivers, it won't start up at all, giving me the 'iTunes has stopped working' bullsh*t. I rolled back the drivers, uninstalled itunes, reinstalled it and still no joy. Every 30 seconds the error pops up, becuase Vista keeps trying to open iTunes, and, as you can imagine, i'm about to throw the computer out the window. please help.

That's because ITUNES ISN'T VISTA COMPATIBLE YET.
