i've got 2 questions

    hey ppl.. uhm... how do i know if my dvd player can play svcd's???? all i know is that its RCA.. and that its like.. 2 years old.. not too old.. and uhm.. if it is compatible with SVCD or VCD's.. how do i actually make the VCD from a .avi file??? thanks for the help

    check here http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers

    Some players play vcd but not SVCD! and when you get an avi file, what u need to do is encode it to vcd/svcd and then burn it!

    okay.. thanks fer the site.. now how do i encode it to vcd/svcd... like i needa step by step instructiosn to it... thanks much
