1 - What kind of mod chip is could if you need it to just play backed up games?
2 - how much could it cost?
3 - where could I get one? (in Canada)
4 - Solderless or not? Wich ones better?(refer to question 1)
5 - Could I just get away with useing a swap disc?
6 - What the hells a swap disk and how does it work?:)

    5. Yes
    6. A disc that boots a ps2 backup game dvdr. Basically, you load the SwapMagic disc, it asks you to 'swap' it with your backup, and it then boots it. For this to work, you just need to fool your ps2 into not recognizing the swap.
Simple enough, either use a 'fliptop' or 'slidecard' for older ps2's; or for the slimline use a 'replacement fliptop', 'slimtool', or 'tape mod'.
