I got a V9 PS2 with fliptop and Swapmagic CD and DVD. If I wanted to play a Japanese game will i need to buy another CD to play the Japanese game. ALso if i make a backup of that game can I use Swapmagic DVD to play it or will I not be able to make a copy of it.

you can use swapmagic to boot different region games i use it to boot some ntsc jap import ddr games on my pal ps2(just make sure your tv suppoets the ntsc tv signal) and as for making a backup of it you can back it up exactly the same way as you would any other game but if you wanted to you could patch the image file with a pal ntsc patch
