I'm looking to Jtag my console. I got somebody to do the soldering stuff for me. I figured out that my console has a Jasper motherboard. But on the net I got tutorials on xennon. Can somebody direct me to a Jasper tutorial. The Nand dumping is the same for all. But the soldering differs. So I need a clear view on the soldering so that I can make somebody understand, and he can do the soldering.

I know it looks pretty foolish to ask for a link, but I did looked a lot, and I just found soldering images. I need videos. Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

You CAN JTAG a jasper so long as its below dash 7371, Ive done it myself loads of times! Here is the wiring you need KaushikDB

Take care with the DB1F1 point, its a b**ch

In regards to the reset glitch, yes you could do that instead but it will be more expensive as you will need a CPLD chip. Im dont think many peeps on here have done this yet as Ive asked a question about a chip recommendation and no-one has replied :(

    This Thread :(

Also, if you are loking for a tutorial, Have a look here. I think you have to register to see the tutorial, but it is very good!

Any number below 7371. Example: "dashboard version 2.0.6500.0". Where the "6500" is less than "7371". I don't think that dashboard exists (6500), but maybe you get the point now. Like mentioned above, even if it is past that dashboard version, example: 2.0.13599.0, you can still do the "reset glitch hack". To find out what dashboard version you have, go to system settings, system info, and look for the line: 2.0.*****.0, where the "*'s" is your dashboard version.

Got it now. Thanks a lot.

But reset glitch needs mod chip which is probably unavailable here in Kolkata(India). I wish if I could Jtag, as it only requires some soldering, no chip needed. Anyway I'm outta luck.
