jpg photos on CD-R for DVD player viewing

    I have a photo album of around 400+ pictures for around 590MB.
    I wish to burn it in a CD-R discs and view by friends & relatives' DVD players.
    I am using Nero Burning ROM 8.
    What kind of CD format should I select for burning?

    ive done it using nero and burnt it as a data cd.

    I did burn the CD-R as data ROM but the DVD player would not display the jpg photos.

    I did not know you can finalize the disk with Nero? I am talking about CD-R or DVD-R, not CD-RW or DVD-RW.

    When I go to Nero to burn a disc, it is burnt and done. Am I correct?

    in nero just before to start burning there is the option to finalize or allow more files to be added later.
