    I've just recieved my Pre-Wired Magic V 50k Chip
V9 mod chip. Do you guys know of any >English< websites that sells 15 watt (or less) soldering irons (with an US plug) and solder? And also.... could you please explain the soldering process I've never done it before and I don't want to screw this up.

maybe he wants autoboot, but if youve never soldered, id suggest getting someone who can solder tiny points to do the install for you. would hate for you to lose your ps2.

I want to do this myself. I just want somebody to tell me how to solder please. I'm getting a 15W soldering iron, solder, and flux paste.

might wanna get a small tip, and practice soldering on old circuit boards before you attempt your ps2.
