    Something is blocking the network.
    Firewall, av soft, wrong network cable and so on.
    You need a crossover network cable for a direct connection to the box.

    AV = Anti Virus.

    Disable any firewall stuff inc. Windows Firewall, Anti Virus, etc. looks like it's trying to boot from the network

    i tried it on my laptop without the null modem cable as there is no socket to it on there but won't do it! is dat jus something blocking the connection or what? n isn't there any other way to do it if that doesn't work like resetting the memory of dbox?
