Everytime I consider buying a drive, I always look for error tests (ie kprobe) and use media with the lowest errors. But recently I was thinking to myself, does any of it even matter? I mean, I can copy whatever I burned back onto my hardrive, and it will be the exact same file as before I burned it. What gets burned to the disc is burned to the disc. I can't imagine what high kprobe error readings really affect. As long as I use a good burner, and good media. Someone enlighten me on this topic.
