I have had a A780 but have just purchased an A850. Have gone to set up the box but the cable box has no cable input feed at the back. Is there something else I need to buy to connect the cable feed or is there something else I should have received in the box?
it might be ant in as its a different connection from the 780 which is an f connector and the 850 has a push in like the old vcr.
Managed to get the adaptor from Maplins which connected fine. Set the box up only to find out that the HDMI port on the A850 does not work. Purchased the box from Topsat. Seemed to be a refurb or second hand as there was a major scratch on the front and scuffs on the top of the box.
No mention of it being a refurb or second hand. Have sent them a message on there website yesterday and a message to there email earlier today just waiting for a response.
Hi, I have also just purchased the same box from Topsat. The box was already ripped and the front was covered in fingerprints, had a few marks underneath so thought the same as you refurb. Have not yet tried it as looking for firmware.
if box was repaired or had marks i would still contact them as it was a new unit you paid for not a used unit.firmware is around if needed think on earlier posts.

I've emailed them and still no response. I think I may have to log a paypal dispute with them. The website has no mention of it being a refurb and for that price you would expect us to be getting a new box. Thought it was odd they were in stock considering no where else has them.
Everywhere has been out of stock for ages so jumped at the chance to get one. like you say its a lot of money for a refurbished box and nowhere on the web page says its a refurb.
After opening up a dispute with PayPal still no response from Top Sat but they have decided the dispute in my favour by agreeing for the £250 for the box to be refunded once I have provided tracking information for the return of the item. Had previously heard good things about Top Sat but my dealings with them have been awful and unprofessional. Glad to hear you got your box up and running Fleur1970!
