Yes same here in Oxford area, glitching on a few channels really bad last week or so, still cheaper than Sky!
was off this morning, did a modem/ router reboot back on, few hours later no movies/sports and a few other channels, so looked to see if there was a software update and is continuosly searching for new update ? last update 4.11.11
I lost ssF1, searched sw update for a minute and then pressed exit, then it came back on. All other sport ok.
vm has been down 4 times in the last 4 weeks...all yesterday didnt even have free channels bbc itv etc takes the pure pish
all back today, but strange that above poster said vm been down as showed as no faults in service status.
they are always updating areas around the uk,but they might only post a problem if its a major outage.
I am still surprised when people are surprised when they are missing chans on these boxs, its the nature of the beast with these boxs, there are to many variables in the mix with them to work perfectly, namely the VM service in a country with millions on it and local issues that can happen, your cabling, their cabling, your internet. Just enjoy what you have and get and be done with it, whats missing today will be back tomorrow while something else will be gone then, just roll with it or you will be posting about chans daily and in different areas
surely your allowed to ask to see if its a national or local problem. think most know we are going to lose odd channels here and there, but i lost nearly everything and wanted to know if anybody else had same problem.
of course ya are, but like I said it will be the same with something tomorrow or the next day, your chans are back, so its like I said above its either one thing or the other with them, thats they way these boxs are and always will be
hi guys after searching the net i found this thread, i have a dreambox which has lost all paid channels 2 days ago along with my 2 mates blade boxes do i need to update my box? can any1 shed any light on my situation? any help much appreciated thanks mike
