i have a problem, its not my computers its my sisters friends laptop computer, from what he told me his computer boots up fine, but as soon as he tries to log on the internet his screen goes blue and cant do anything about it, i know its not a lot of information about the computer but i will get the laptop tonight at 9, its 7:33 right now, so if anybody can help at least a little bit, letting me know what the problem may be caused by or anything that would be really appriciated, thanx
i received the computer, its a dell notebook inspiron 8100, its running on win xp pro, it has 9.36gb, free space is 6.95gb, it has 256mb of ram, along with 863MHz, its an Intel(r) Pentium(R)III, anything else needed please let me know, i believe its an over load on the cpu its self, because i was looking at the memory/ cpu usage and when ever the cpu usage gets up to 100% for about 5 seconds the screen freezes and gets to a blue screen with white lettering which i believe is telling me that windows is not functioning correctly, and i have to hold the power button until it turns its self off than turn it back on, which it will run again for a very short period of time
