Simple question probably, but it is driving me bonkers. My laptop is connected to a docking station at work. Every time I as much as bump my desk, Windows keeps wanting to put the thing in standby mode. Must happen 20 times a day. I have changed a bunch of settings to try and stop this, but can't figure out if this is a a changeable setting or just something i have to get used to.

    Thanks for any help.

While I don't have a laptop, if you right click on desktop-->properties-->Screen saver-->power (on the bottom) that will allow you to change energy management options on your computer.

I have changed those settings repeatedly. There is no setting for "slightly bumped" however. Who knows, maybe it is just a bad connection.
