Ok, here's my problem: i bought a PS2 that could only read dvds and not cds. I adjusted the laser voltage and then it would read both. but then after awhile it wouldn't read dvds anymore just the cds. i tried to adjust the laser for dvds but can't seem to get it. I don't have an oscilliscope so finding the sweet spot is very difficult. Should i continue trying to adjust it or should i just replace the laser? If i replace it will it work right off or will i have to go through adjusting that one too? And also any suggestions on where to get a new laser cheap? I need a 400b i think. thanx in advance for any help offered
