Well my answer was brief because of the question, a little more info would have helped...like Nero 6 or Nero 7.
Having said that I use and recommend version 7.5.9.0.....I see quite a few log where 7.8.5.0 has had some failed burns.

I would not recommend version 7.8.5.0 to ANYONE. It has so many kinks in it right now, it's unbelievable. I've never had so many "Not responding" issues with any other version of Nero. The discs burn with VERY poor quality (beginning music cut off, skipping in the middle of the song, etc.) and DVDs....well Nero Vision will just up and shut down on you for no good reason at all in the middle of transcoding. It's really downright ridiculous.

Stick with the older versions for now. They work just fine! =o)
