I was looking into getting a new monitor cause i do not think mine is LCD. I was told all flat pannels are LCD but then someone told me that's true. I want to know is there a way to find out if mine is LCD and if it is i wanna know if 270 bucks is worth a 22' widescreen over a 17' regular LCD (if it is LCD)

So what model of monitor do you have? Just Google the number for a review of it if you don't have the owners manual. That will tell you if it's an LCD or whatever.

I am using a ViewSonic VX922, 19 inch LCD. Has a 2ms response time; great for gaiming. Cost $259 with free shipping. I'm happy with it.

"Worth" is a personal, subjective choice.
