    Legacy seems to be simply rebranding whatever media they can get cheapest. In the past they've shipped stuff from Princo and Gigastorage, neither of whom I would consider more than bottom-of-the-barrel.

    Some users have received media with a Sony manufacturing id, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're of the same quality as Sony-branded media.

    In short, they're a gamble. You might well get something that works, but you might also get unlucky and be stuck with a lot of coasters. I'd stear clear of them, especially given how cheap truly good media is these days.

    I have burned Legacy DVD-R,DVD+R'S with no problems at all i buy 50 and 100 packs from NEW EGG. They are cheap but they work fine in all my set top DVD players
