Lens Cleaning

    Apparently my lens are dirty and thats why im producing skippy discos. So how do i clean the lens? Do i just pop open the drive and spit and shine?

    Advice please

    Only if you want it to never work again.

    Use a lens cleaning CD

    Compressed air. Stick the straw inside (not too far now) and blow the dust out. If it gets to the point where air won't dust it off, those CD-ROM cleaners ain't gonna do much.

    Open the tray and toss the unit in the dishwasher. :) Actually, you can buy a lens cleaning kit from any store that sells cds / dvds.
