LG-4082B Issues

    Hi..
    I have a LG 4082-B burner which i brought maybe a couple of months ago. I have recently brought a pack of Vakoss DVD-R media which is supposed to write up to 8x. When I tried with Nero.. it only gave me the option to burn at 4x. The Vakoss media i bought at Best Buy in Canada (Ontario). What can be done to fix the problem? Is the media or so I have to update my firmware?

    Can that burner burn at 8x?

    yes it is designed to burn at 8x...but it doesnt seem too.
    Any suggestions?
