I was just wondering if this is good for the drive as this stays on being plugged into the wall outlet. There's no on/off switch, so should I unplug it when not in use?

I don't think it would have any major effects on the drives burning capabilities. It's like leaving your TV in standby; it's still on, using power, just doing nothing.

If you want to save electricity, then turn it off. Lol. I turn my externall HDD off at the wall when I turn off the PC, but that's just habbit. ^.~

Thanks...just got a little concerned...I doubt that it'll suck up alot of juice...but I'll leave it off anyway...its just a backup, backup drive. =)
