LG GSA 4040B major headache!

    Got an LG4040B installed, it won't Write to DVD+RW ?
    It will play DVD / CD / RAM discs ! Have tried uninstalling etc, but no joy , downloaded Nero info tool and it states "ASPI installation is corrupted" would this be the cause of the copying problem?
    HELP!1

    Yes. Fix it. And update the LG to firmware A302.
