limited connection on no conectivity

    can somebody help me out pls....
    i got 2 pcs both running windows xp sp2 and connect them by crossovercable. it detects the other pc but my connection status has error that says "limited or no connectivity". i was able to share files but i cant share my internet to the other pc.
    whats possibly wrong with it?

    go to network setting and set manually IP. default gate (your router ip) and find out your DNS's too. after setting those up. Restart

    I have the same problem and i manually configure everything but it doesn't work it still doesn't share internet or anything any suggestions?
