Does anyone know if there is/where there is a list of online games that use DNAS verse those that do not. I assume most recent games do, however there have to be some that do not. Thanks in advance for any help given.

actualy a dnas is another copy protection that dont lets you use backups online...

    SSX3
    NFSU
    SOCOM II

these only few of them that wont let you play online with a backup...

anything before NCAA football 2004 doesn't have DNAS. to add a few more games to the ones billz listed. Frequency, amplitude, tribes:arial assault. Twisted metal black doesn't even have online capabilities. it's actually twisted metal black: online which is a seperate game/disc.

Does XIII made by UBISOFT in 03 use DNAS then, I could not figure out if it was made before or after NCAA 2004 (which is a very good game BTW). Thanks...

Also, does anyone know where a specific technical breakdown of DNAS and the sony servers might be found. Anything that might have leaked and would a good technical description etc. Or source code...
    Thanks

no tech... no leak.. no nothing... sony constantly changes the structure... so it would be imposible to just patch it...

I was thinking more along the lines of creating a DNAS authentication proxy server, where if you have a home computer on your highspeed, you drop this PS2 proxy server software on the home pc that can emulate the PS2, then point your PS2 network info to that server instead of out to the internet and then the server can send authenticated DNAS returns to the actual sony servers rather than going directly to the console. It seems like a solid idea but I am missing a few key components, with the DNAS and what layer of the IP stack it sits on and whether info is sent on any UDP packets, etc. etc. obviously there are more holes but I think this could be done succesfully. Guess I have to grab more PS2 packets...
