Hi, I have a dvd burner drive, its a: LiteOn LDW-811S DVD±RW Yesterday my friend gave me 3 blank dvd -r (negative -)discs so that i cud burn a few tings, but for somereason wen i put in da disc , da drive light just keeps on flashing trying to read the disc and it never stops. It never stops reading the disc. I cant access the contents of the DVD thru My Computer neither cus it jus keeps working. All three discs give me da exac same problem. My friend suggested this problem mite be caused cus i dont hav a drive compatible of reading -r (negative -) discs but as u can see in da link belo, it says my dvd drive shud read -r (negative -) dvd discs. http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Reviews/Specific.aspx?ArticleId=8565 My drive works fine for other dvds tho, i get no problem wen i try playing dvd movies. Use Taiyo Yuden + media. Supposed to be the best for liteon drives. Check out rima and supermediastore for good deals.
