I've been using WinAVI to convert my files to WMVs so I could watch them, of course. But there's a problem. I'm not sure if WinAVI causes this or the DVD Encrypter. But when I watch the video(s), there's subtitles. I checked Windows Media to make sure they were turned off, but they were still there, and I'd rather them not be there. Any way to keep that from happening? Any help is appreciated.

If it is an avi file the subtitles are probably hard subs. Meaning they are always going to show up, and you can't take them off.
