I have an unmodded PS2. I use HDLoader to protect my kids' PS2 games from scratches. Everything works fine.

They play a lot of PS1 games also and those disks are deteriorating. I know that I can't load PS1 games on the HDD using HDLoader.

But, what if I were to remove the HDD in their PS2 and hook it up to a PC (via an external USB box). Could I then transfer the PS1 games to the HDD via WINHIIP and would HDLoader then load them like it does PS2 games?

In other words, is the limitation re: PS1 games with HDLoader a problem with the INITIAL "loading" of the games ONTO the HDD - or is it a limitation that HDLoader won't load (so that you can play) a PS1 game that is otherwise properly on the HDD via WINHIIP?

    Thanks in advance.
