I bought a 6030 on ebay. I recieved an unlock code from a website I tried and it was for this phones imei number. I tried the 2 codes per the instructions they gave me and it says cannot undo restriction. That tells me I am screwed per the thread on this page saying it is hardlocked. Now When this happens you have to send it to a pro. What exactly do they do different? Seems to me that (unless they have a data cable and some software) I could follow some instructions on how to solve this problem. So how do they do it?
They do it with $400 worth of hardware and special cables you don't have and they can do it in 10 minutes for about $20.00 to $50.00
