I'm trying to backup a long movie. It ripped fine with Decrypter, and opens fine with Shrink. Backing up "movie only" I get about a 56% compression (movie is 2hr24min long), which from my experience will yield lots of jumps, skips, etc on my player.

The movie file is just one file, ie one title, so I need a way to split this long file.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial/method for breaking this long thing up into two. I'd like to put it on two 4.3 gig DVD's.

    thanks

More info. The movie came on one 4 gig sized disk, and total file size is under 4.3 gigs. I just seem to have a problem with compressions less than say 75%.

Even more info. The file does not have any subtitle or extra audio tracks I can get rid of.
