Hi there i wonder if someone could help me with my problem.
I am trying to add another hard drive to my computer but the problem i have is that i don't have any spare connectors on my ide cables.

I have two outgoing connectors on my motherboard.
One ribbon has 2 hard drives plugged in and the other has a dvd and cd drive installed.

I am basically looking for a ide 40 pin ribbon cable which has 3 ougoing connections so that i can plug all 3 of my hard drives into.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing available to buy in the Uk.

I have had a look on google but can't seem to find anything else but 2 outgoing ribbon cables.

Many thanks for any help given.

I am pretty sure they do not make 3 device ide cables. As one device is the "master" and one is the "slave".

You can check newegg.com for IDE Controller cards to and additional PATA connectors to your computer. You will need a free PCI slot.
