Right now i am looking to get the new 16x pioneer dvd burner the 108 DL, but right now i only have a pentium III 700 MHz computer and i am going to build a new one in the next month or two (when money comes in). But i guess my real question(s) are will it still function propely with smaller computer and is the pioneer 16X DL a good one to go with.

Hi PupDog44, When my Pioneer 106D dies, there will be another Pioneer going in its place. While the Dual layer blank media is expensive right now, I would still buy the dual layer burner and use single layer media with it until DL prices come down. I think you are making a good choice.
