Looking for the best way to tackle this: I am a novice when it comes to this stuff, but I am a computer programmer, so I know my way around and all that. I have tried several programs, including ImToo, SmartRipper, Amigo, and a few others, but I can't seem to rip the VOB files in a high quality, I lose quality no matter what settings I try. So I figure I am doing something wrong or not using the right software. My goal is to take a DVD, rip certain chapters (video only) and then edit it in vegas 5 (or similar, but I already own vegas 5) so I can use different audio with the video. Then render the whole thing back to a format I can burn to DVD any suggestions on what to use software and settings wise?
