    Hey Guys,

I am new here and looked but couldn't find anything on this subject. I just got my ipod video(first ipod ever) and transferred a bunch of music from my old MP3 player with no problems. Whenever I download anything from iTunes store or use iTunes to download anything off of CD the volume is low. I have gone over iTunes over and over and can't find a setting to allow me to increase the volume when using that software. Everything off of my old MP3 player is nice and loud but anything new is low. If I have it playing through my car speakers anything new is low and all the old stuff from the other MP3 player I can crank up the volume and it rocks loudly. Can anyone help me with this, it's driving me nuts?

    Thanks in advance,
    John

In iTunes, go to 'Edit' => 'Preferences'. Then, in the 'Playback' tab on top, you can mess around with some volume settings.
