Before I buy what are the rules / limitations on playing w/ friends. Since alot of roms have to be patched will that prevent me from playing with others? Please direct me in the right place if I missed some obvious tutorial on the matter.
Slot-2 devices rules/limitations: Multiplayer where you are using a ROM and your friends a ROM - works. Multiplayer where you are using a ROM and your friends a real game - works. Multiplayer where you are using a ROM and your friends using download play (no game) - does not work, unless they have Flashme installed (chances are they don't) Nintendo Wifi Connection (online) - works Slot-1 devices rules/limitations: Everything should work perfectly as the games are not patched. If you do patch the games for whatever reason (soft reset/trim etc.) Then follow the rules for slot-2 devices.
