So why does that guy says "only if you want to play DS games"?
Also, I think the disc comes with M3 Simply, I don't see a problem, is it the best thing for the price?

Some homebrew and other applications may need two cards to run because of ram needs. Additionally there are some homebrew programs that are only Slot2 solutions, because they manipulate data on the slot 1 device/cart. M3DSS is a slot one device.

Some homebrew will run on it, but not all.

But you can play roms on it and use the movie player and launch slot 2 original carts.

Does that help? I have both as I wanted to specifically run dslinux on my NDSlite. It is cool. Games were secondary, but now I find that cheat code engineering looks fun, the slot 2 is necessary for this too.

Basically, I want to use M3 Lite Simply to play DS games (roms), play movies or animation, and well have some small programs like Windows Skins and a notepad where I can save memos etc. I was first thinking about getting Supercard Lite Rumble w/ Passcard and Micro SD but it comes too expensive. Micro SDs are like $5-10 now. What did you say about running Lunix on DS?
