magic v install!need help!

    does anyone know about the part ps14 on the naimboard of a version 7 ps2,i heard that those lil boxes are suppose to have zero resistant levels,if not that means there bad.It`s the one with a hundred on it ,.does anyone know what it controls on the board?cause all the other ps`s read at a zero level.could this be a problem of tray not opening?

    I think a zero ohm or jumper resistor would read 000.
    usually the first two digits are the value and the third digit is the multiplier. meaning if the resistor reads 153 its a 15000 ohm resistor sounds like in your case the 100 is a 10 ohm and if its reading 0 ohms its shorted.
