Sounds like you managed to edit out some of your DVD's content. What mode are you using Full DVD, Main Movie? Also, why are you using Recode? With a DL, all you need to do is bypass the decryption and copy protections and record. All you need is the DVDFab HD Decrypter and a burner capable of doing DL burns. A lot of users consider ImgBurn the best for doing DL burns. I usually use it myself.

For what it is, I'll give ImgBurn a 9 out of 10. It's actually good enough for 10, but LUK won't come over to my house and run the program for me. LOL I do most of my backups on DVD5 (4.7) but for some special jobs I'll go to DL. The copies are just as functional as the originals. If you didn't see the recordable being put in the player, it would be hard to tell which is which.

I can't say my success is strictly from experience either. I use the same software as most other members, except I'll use RB for copies needing heavy compression. RB is a popular program, but still isn't one of the big name retail sellers. I appear to be using software the right way, but so can anyone who pays attention to the help threads and guides. I stick with media that works for me, which is nothing new. I've simply developed repeatable routines that work and I've enjoyed a long string of success. Plus, I built my PC with transcoding and encoding in mind.
