I'm trying to convert 2 DivXs to DVD but whenever I load it into mainconcept mpeg encoder they say "No video data found". I've also tried TMPGEnc but that says that the file is not supported.
Now I've used these programs on many occasions and have had no problems but this is really doing my head in. I thought that they might be fakes but they play perfectly on windows media player.
If anybody could help I would be very grateful.

    Thanks in advance

Well, since you can play them you have the proper codec, and maybe they're corrupted.
This happened with MPEG-2 files if you don't have TMPGenc Plus, but I never had this on an AVI.
What happens if you try to open the movie with Virtualdub?
