    I think what he means is if there is a way put copy protection on the dvds ? (exactly what he asked, lol)

    Of course there will always be a way to decrypt and copy the video (dvdDecryter, RI4M, etc...)

    But not everyone knows about those programs.
    The average person thinks they can burn dvd's with Nero just like burning cd's
    The average person thinks you can just put a dvd in one drive and the blank dvd in the other and just press copy

    I would like to put copy protection on all my video dvds too
    if it is not that hard
    let me know
    thanks

    @ gamerofuk

    You do not appear to understand that anything than can be encrypted can be decrypted. All the comercial companies put css encryption on their DVD's but there are many programs around to decrypt these protections.

    Try the MPAA or Macrovision for encrypting software - I'm sure they would sell you some of their duds for a hefty price.

    gamerofuk what is so importent or special that you want to put copy protection on your homemade video's, you and mommy doing the nasty? if you are loaning out your video's and you don't want your peeps copying, simple don't loan out your video's, you could make the file password protected, and this question has been asked many times, so if you were to do a search on this site you would see that there a few threads on this topic,
