Making a VCD with Nero, do I use "burning rom" or "vision express"?

    I have .avi, video files which I used TMPGE to make a mpg file. Now that is complete are there any other steps before I use Nero? Which application(s) in Nero would I use to make a VCD to watch on my dvd player?

    I did not use any other applications other than the steps in the TMPGE wizard.

    I've used VisionExpress for this purpose. You can edit the movie, create chapters, even make a Menu. Assuming you have encoded to mpeg 1 format a 1 hr. movie takes about 40 min. from start to finish(Burned). I found it very easy to use after a little playing around. If you need help with specific steps I might be able to help, but I'm no expert. Good Luck
